Description
Haemangioblastomas are rare polymorphic tumours with a predisposition for the posterior cranial fossa, which explains the limitations of the CT diagnosis and the advantages of magnetic resonance imaging. MRI must always be interpreted cautiously, particularly because of the phenomena related to oedema. The use of paramagnetic contrast media is essential in combination with a complete arteriographic assessment
