Description

The possibilities of determining the structure of the weak hadronic neutral currents in the study of the nuclear transitions initiated by intermediate energy (approximately 100 MeV) neutrinos is analysed. It is shown that considerable information on the various components of these currents may be gained from experiments with an oxygen target. The suggested method singling out the isoscalar Fermi component of the neutral current by investigation of the 6.05 MeV Jsup(π)T=0+0 level in 16O seems to be the most promising. (Auth.)
