Description of the tasks of control room operators in German nuclear power plants and support possibilities by advanced computer systems

Description

In course of the development of nuclear power plants the instrumentation and control systems and the information in the control room have been increasing substantially. With this background it is described which operator tasks might be supported by advanced computer aid systems with main emphasis to safety related information and diagnose facilities. Nevertheless, some of this systems under development may be helpful for normal operation modes too. As far as possible recommendations for the realization and test of such systems are made. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Vor dem Hintergrund der Zunahme der leittechnischen Einrichtungen, der Informationsmenge in der Warte und der steigenden Blockleistung von Kernkraftwerken wird beschrieben, welche Aufgaben der Schichtmannschaft durch moderne Rechnersysteme unterstuetzt werden koennen. Der Schwerpunkt liegt bei den Informations- und Diagnoseeinrichtungen fuer sicherheitstechnisch bedeutsame Aufgaben, auch wenn mehrere der in Entwicklung befindlichen Systeme ebenso der Unterstuetzung rein betrieblicher Massnahmen dienen. Soweit dies bisher moeglich ist, werden Empfehlungen fuer die Realisierung und das Austesten der Systeme gegeben. (orig.)
