Self-consistent description of low-lying states in double-magic nuclei
- 1. AN SSSR, Leningrad. Inst. Yadernoj Fiziki
Description
A theory is considered based on the account of the coupling between the potential of the nucleus mean field and quasiparticle interaction. The potential parameters of the mean field are chosen from the condition of the best description of the nuclear Fermi surface. The interaction between single-particle and collective states is supposed to be weak. The theory is shown to provide a quantitatively correct description of the energy of lower collective states of the double magic nuclei and of the cross section of the proton elastic scattering at 1 GeV. The calculated cross sections of inelastic scattering with excitation of collective states in double-magic 16O, 40Ca, 48Ca, 208Pb nuclei, and also the charge distributions probabilities of collective EJ-transitions, transient charge densities and spectroscopic factors of lower states of the ''208Pb +- nucleon'' nuclei are in a good agreement with the experiment
