Comparison of optical properties of electron irradiated and thermal treated polyethylene

Description
Optical properties of electron-irradiated and thermal treated have been studied. Various proceeding of formation of oxygen-containing groups and conjugated bonds during electron-irradiation and termal treatment is shown by UV- and IR-spectroscopy and luminescence methods. Thermal action results in more pronounced changes of PE structure
