The 1986 statistical results of the Official Personal Dosimetry Service at GSF

Description

The report consists of a summary of relevant statistical data from the official personal dosimetry in 1985. Under survey were occupationally exposed persons in the states of Bavaria, Hessen and Schleswig-Holstein. The data are based on the survey of more than 6500 institutions with nearly 83000 persons and are derived from approx. 1000000 single measurements. The report covers informations on the institutions, on the persons as well as dosimetric values. The measuring method is described briefly with respect to dosimeters used, their range and the interpretation of values. Information on notional doses and the interpolation of values nearby the detection limits are given. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Der Bericht enthaelt eine Zusammenfassung der wichtigsten statistischen Ergebnisse aus der Personendosisueberwachung des Jahres 1985 fuer die Bundeslaender Bayern, Hessen und Schleswig-Holstein. Die Daten basieren auf ueber 6500 ueberwachten Betrieben mit insgesamt fast 83000 Personen, das heisst ca. 1000000 Einzelmessungen. Es werden sowohl betriebs- und personenspezifische Daten als auch dosimetrische Daten erfasst. Bei den letzteren werden neben Dosimetereigenschaften wie Anwendungsbereich, Messbereich etc. auch allgemeine Verfahren wie die Festlegung von Ersatzdosen und die Rundung der Messwerte, insbesondere im Bereich der unteren Messgrenze dargestellt.
