Description

Spectral maxima of parametric X-ray radiation from moderately relativistic protons interacting with different crystals have been observed for the first time. The radiation maxima positions in the spectra depend on the crystal angle and correspond to the theoretical values. The measurements have been performed with silicon and graphite crystals at the Nuclotron (LHE, JINR) external beam of protons with the energy 5 GeV
