Thermal analysis of a mix up sodium tank and its ebb pipeline for SS-050 circuit during a thermal shock

Description
In this work a thermo-hydraulic model was developed in order to obtain the sodium temperature time history between the mixup tank (TM) and the drain tank of the SS-050 sodium test loop. Results are presented relative to a thermal shock whith initial and final sodium inlet temperature of 6000C and 4000C respectively, with a thermal gradient of-2000C/s. This sodium loop will be briefly installed in the IEN/RJ area. From the sodium temperature time-history during the thermal shock transient the temperature field for the walls of the TM bottom and outlet nozzle is obtained. (author)

Neste trabalho desenvolve-se um procedimento para a obtencao da evolucao das temperaturas do sodio entre o tanque de mistura, com volume constante, e o tanque de drenagem do circuito de teste de sodio SS-050, para um choque termico de -2000C/s. Este circuito a sodio sera instalado em breve na area do IEN/RJ. A partir das curvas com a evolucao das temperaturas do sodio durante o transiente, obtem-se a evolucao/distribuicao das temperaturas nas paredes da tubulacao e bocais. (autor)Files
