Nucleons as solitons in nuclear matter
Description
After the description of a generalized Lee-Friedberg soliton bag model the author applies this model on nucleons in large nuclei using a combination of the soliton model with the Walecka model. He reproduces the equilibrium density and the binding energy per nucleon of nuclear matter and makes statements how structure and properties of the quark-core in the nucleon change as function of the density.
