Description
Radon level measurement is described using a method based on the adsorption of emanated radon on activated carbon. The adsorption was measured by scintillation gamma spectrometry in a range of 220 to 1000 keV. Sample preparation is also described. 32 measurements on 9 different building material samples are assessed. The measurements carried out using activated carbon are compared with those of equal samples using the Lucas chamber. (author). 1 fig., 2 tabs., 8 refs
