DERAN: a computer program for identification of radioactive nuclides in measured gamma spectra
Description
To evaluate gamma spectra measured by Ge(Li)-detector-systems at the HSD-loop of the FR2, the computer program DERAN (Detection of Radioactive Nuclides) was developed. The program is written in Fortran IV and divided in different blocks: 1) establishment of a relation between channel number and gamma energy of the corresponding photo peak; 2) detection of photo peaks; 3) determination of position and counts of the photo peak; 4) identification of gamma emitting nuclides; 5) calculation of corresponding activities. The first three blocks are used in each calculation, the latter two only on request. Input of spectra into the computer is done by paper tape or magnetic tape, output of the calculations is done by printer. The evaluation requires a maximal region of 240 K and a maximal time of 30 sec. (orig.)

Zur Auswertung der mit Ge(Li)-Detektorsystemen am HSD-Loop des FR2 aufgenommenen Gammaspektren wurde das Rechenprogramm DERAN (Detection of Radioactive Nuclides) entwickelt. Dieses Programm ist in Fortran IV geschrieben und in mehrere Bloecke aufgeteilt: 1) Erstellen einer Beziehung zwischen Kanalnummer und entsprechender Gammaenergie der Photolinie; 2) Auffinden von Photolinien; 3) Bestimmung der Lage und der Impulsanzahl der Photolinie; 4) Identifikation der gammastrahlenden Nuklidarten; 5) Berechnung der zugehoerigen Aktivitaeten. Die drei ersten Bloecke werden bei jeder Berechnung durchlaufen, die beiden letzten koennen wahlweise benutzt werden. Die Eingabe der Spektren in den Rechner erfolgt ueber Lochstreifen oder Magnetband, die Ausgabe der Ergebnisse ueber Drucker. Zum Auswerten eines Spektrums wird ein maximaler Kernspeicherbereich von 240 K bei einer maximalen Rechenzeit von 30 sec benoetigt. (orig.)
