Charm background to Drell-Yan production from photons
Creators

Description
The Drell-Yan mechanism in photon-nucleon collisions has been suggested as a means of measuring photon structure functions. It is shown that the previously neglected μ-pair background due to charm production is likely to obscure such measurements unless subtracted out experimentally. (author)
