Features of niobium (2) oxide interaction with rare earth oxides

Description
Phase equilibria within Ln2O3 - NbO systems, where Ln=La, Nd, Gd, Dy, Er, Lu, are studied by means of physicochemical methods (X-ray phase, IR spectroscopic, thermogravimetric analyses, as well as, by measurement of specific electrical resistance and magnetic susceptibility). Investigation results have shown, that one can conditionally divide systems into two groups, that is: systems with light rare earth oxides and those with heavy rare earth oxides, according to character of component interaction and to formed phases. General regularities and peculiarities of component interaction within each of the studied systems are determined. Parameters of phase crystal lattices within their existence fields are calculated
