First W decays observed with the DO detector

Description
We have observed the first few W decays into electrons at the Tevatron, using the newly commissioned D circ detector. Preliminary results are presented. The number of observed decays as well as the transverse momentum of the electron, the neutrino, and their transverse mass distributions, are consistent with expectations
