Description
Sequential cerebral scintigraphy (SCS) is suggested a preliminary screening for cerebrovascular diseases. For confirmation 385 patients were examined. In comparison with Doppler sonography, computerized tomography, and angiography, SCS proved to be the most sensitive method for the diagnosis of transitory ischemic attacks and so effective as other methods in the diagnosis of prolonged ischemic neurological defects.
