Description
Thermal stability of amorphous state for alloys of the V-Zr, V-Ti, V-Zr-Ti, V-Zr-Hf, V-Zr-Ta systems is studied. The samples of amorphous alloys in a form of foils have been prepared by quenching from gaseous phase. By the thermal analysis method phase transformation temperatures have been determined. For elucidating crystallization kinetics electrical resistance measurements have been carried out in the course of heating. It has been found that the V-Zr and V-Zr-Hf alloys crystallization proceeds in pone stage which is associated with the formation of stable crystalline phases according to a simple reaction. V-Zr-Ti and V-Zr-Ta alloys crystallization is realized in several stages; possible is formation of several phases by different mechanisms
