Computer-aided tomography in benign focal liver lesions
Description
Different CT techniques are available for the study of liver disease: noncontrast and contrast enhanced, that may be subdivided into dynamic incremental, dynamic static and delayed CT. These techniques have to be chosen in relation to clinical indications. Main features of more common noformative, infective and dystrophic benign lesions are briefly described. Some of there patterns are typical but may overlap each other and with those of malignant lesions. Thus, a correct diagnosis may be achieved taking into account the complete clinical data
