Description
Stellar reaction rates of the sequence 14N(α,γ)18F(β+ν)18O(α,γ)22Ne (α,n)25Mg are reviewed and new experiments on 22Ne+α are reported. At high stellar temperatures 18F will be burned alternatively via 18Fα,p)21Ne. The inverse reaction 21Ne(p,α)18F has been studied experimentally and first results are presented
