Use of CR-39 nuclear track detectors for inertial confinement fusion research
Creators
- 1. Osaka Univ., Suita (Japan). Inst. of Laser Engineering
Description
Track registration efficiency of CR-39 track decectors to high energy protons with energy up to 9.9 MeV was measured. The measured registration efficiency was almost 100 % for energy below 5.4 MeV, whereas it was reduced to be 80 - 85 % above 7.4 MeV. These results are going to be used to determine the fuel density-radius product of inertial confinement fusion targets. (author)
