Description
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has developed as an important medical diagnostic tool because it provides a non-radioactive means of viewing a cross section of the human body. The corporation has developed superconducting magnets for MRI applications. These magnets not only comply with MRI requirements in terms of high field strength, field homogeneity and field stability but also satisfy medical needs for reliability and ease of use. (author)
