DWBA calculation of the Coulomb breakup of 6He with a three-body wave function
- 1. Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Calcutta (India)
Description
The Coulomb break up of two neutron halo nuclei has been investigated within a theory developed in the framework of post form Distorted Wave Born Approximation, where the finite range effects are included by a local momentum approximation. This theory is applied to calculate various reaction observation like energy and momentum distributions of the fragments emitted in the breakup of 6He on heavy targets
