Description

The boson-fermion hybrid wavefunctions which encompass both the bosonic and fermionic degrees of freedom are presented and are applied to the singel-j shell situation. It is demonstrated that such wavefunctions are exactly equivalent to the shell model wavefunctions. The probabilities of the two boson states in nuclei are discussed via such wavefunctions. (orig.)
