Micrometeorological study of the Atucha Nuclear Power Plant site
Description
The evaluation of time meteorological data obtained at the micrometeorological station of the Atucha Power Plant during 1979, is presented. Special attention is given to the transport and atmospheric dispersion characteristics through the evaluation of the mean and hourly wind behaviour and the stability classes. Furthermore, it is obtained an estimation of the dispersion factors both for short-term and long-term releases using Gaussians models. As these factors are representative of mean conditions, they should not be applied to the analysis of isolated situations. Finally it is emphasized that, although the results were obtained by means of 1979 data, significative differences are not expected for other years. (M.E.L.)

Se presenta la evaluacion de los datos meteorologicos horarios obtenidos en la estacion micrometeorologica de la Central Nuclear de Atucha durante el ano 1979. Se presta particular atencion a las caracteristicas del transporte y la dispersion atmosferica a traves de la evaluacion del comportamiento medio y horario del viento y de las clases de estabilidad. Se obtiene ademas una estimacion de los factores de dilucion para emisores de corta y larga duracion, utilizando modelos Gaussianos. Como dichos valores son representativos de condiciones medias, no pueden ser utilizados para analisis de situaciones aisladas. Por ultimo se destaca que si bien estos resultados fueron obtenidos a partir de datos del ano 1979, no es dable esperar diferencias significativas para otros anos. (M.E.L.)Files
