Description
TbPdAl crystallizes in an orthorhombic low-temperature modification (LTM) with TiNiSi-type structure and in a hexagonal high-temperature modification (HTM) with ZrNiAl-type structure. Powder neutron diffraction experiments on TbPdAl were started to investigate magnetic phase transitions of LTM and HTM samples. (author) 3 figs., 2 refs
