Equations of the dissipative hydrodynamics of a mixture of two superfluid liquids

  • 1. Physicotechnical Institute, Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR, Khar'kov

Description

The equations of the hydrodynamics of two superfluid liquids are derived with allowance for dissipative processes. The analysis is based on the use of the method of quasi-averages and the reduced-description method. The approach developed allows a consistent consideration of the dragging of either component of the solution as a result of the motion of the other. The kinetic coefficients are expressed in terms of the time correlation functions of the corresponding flux operators, and satisfy Onsager's symmetry principle for kinetic coefficients
