Electron irradiation effect on electrophysical properties of Cdsub(x)Hgsub(1-x)Te (x approximately 0,2)
Description
Cdsub(x)Hgsub(1-x)Te samples were irradiated at room temperature by 25 MeV electrons. Samples with similar electrophysical properties in the whole temperature range were selected for irradiation. Temperature dependences of the Hall coefficient Rsub(x)(T) and specific resistance rho(T) at 42-300 K for the 0.05-0.4 Tl magnetic fields before and after irradiation were measured. The difference in the properties of alloyed and non-alloyed CdsUb(0.2)Hgsub(0.8)Te material is observed following irradiation, which is caused by the participation of charge carriers of the impurity zone in non-alloyed samples
