Phosphorus and boron effects on the concentration of vacancies in a pure stainless steel 316L

Description
Using positron annihilation (angular correlation method), we have observed that there is a great interaction between phosphorus and the equilibrium concentration of vacancies in a pure stainless steel 316L. On the contrary, boron as an impurity has no such detectable effect in this material. (orig.)
