The latent heat of pure gluon deconfinement

Description
We measure the latent heat of the high-temperature deconfinement transition of pure gauge lattice QCD, using lattices with ten, twelve and fourteen links in the euclidean time direction. The latent heat Δε in units of the lattice Λ parameter is found to be Δε/Λ4=(3.17±0.35±systematic)x10. (orig.)
