Description
In the frame of the PRIMO programme the irradiation behaviour of uranium-plutonium mixed oxide fuel in pressurized water reactors is investigated. Secondary ion mass spectrometry was applied for the determination of radial profiles of burnup and of plutonium and fission product isotopes, providing data for the analysis of mixed oxide neutronic behaviour.
