Description
This paper presents two newly developed Markov models to evaluate reliability and availability of two active dissimilar unit parallel system with common-cause failures and human errors. System reliability, mean time to failure (MTTF) and steady state availability formulas and plots are developed. Plots clearly demonstrate the significant effect of common-cause failures and human error on system reliability and steady state availability
