The universal correlation between Tc and n/m* in HTSC obtained from I-V characteristics
Description
A correlation between the Landau-Ginzburg temperature and the ratio n/m* is obtained by interpreting the non-Ohmic I-V characteristics without applied magnetic field in several high-Tc superconductors. A Kosterlitz-Thouless model extended to quasi bi-dimensional systems is used and the bi-dimensional layer effective thickness in BSCCO, TBCCO, YBCO and LSCO is evaluated. The proposed correlation is similar to that previously found in the same materials by muon spin relaxation measurements. (orig.)
