Finiteness of Flux Vacua

In the present talk we briefly address the problem of counting supersymmetric flux vacua. The main features of flux compactifications and the landscape of string vacua have been explained in the school by S. Kachru and M. Douglas. Therefore here we concentrate on the ingredients that enter into proving the finiteness
