Neutron radii determinations from the ratios of π- elastic scattering from 1213C and 1618O
Creators
Description
Determination of the radius of the nuclear neutron distribution by low-energy π- scattering from a pair of isotopes is explained. Results are given for 13C and 18O. Elastic scattering differential cross sections are shown for 12C and 13C at 29.2 and 49.5 MeV and for 16O and 18O at 29.2 MeV. 4 figures, 1 tables
