A systems model to investigate alternative energy strategies
Description
A system model to investigate alternative energy strategies was developed. Firstly the reason for the necessity of a long-term aimed planning including all problem complexes taking part is given. Methods of systems engineering and their suitability to the description of dynamic systems were investigated for their applicability to this task. The model presented follows the method of multiplane hierarchial systems because they enable a modular construction of the whole model. After determining the system limits, the function of the whole model was described, and the fixed sub-model was then developed and presented. In addition to this, an exemplary model investigation and demonstration is given. The possibilities of future use of this model also for investigations with special problems for the Federal Republic of Germany are indicated. (orig./LH)

Ein Systemmodell zur Untersuchung alternativer Energiestrategien wurde entwickelt. Dazu erfolgte zunaechst die Begruendung der Notwendigkeit einer langfristig angelegten, alle beteiligten Problemkomplexe umfassenden Planung. Methoden der Systemtechnik und ihre Eignung fuer die Beschreibung dynamischer Systeme wurden auf ihre Anwendbarkeit fuer diese Aufgabenstellung untersucht. Das vorgelegte Modell bediente sich der Methode der mehrebenen hierarchischen Systeme, weil sie den modularen Aufbau des Gesamtmodelles gestatteten. Nach der Festlegung der Systemgrenzen wurde die Funktion des Gesamtmodelles beschrieben und anschliessend die festgelegten Submodelle entwickelt und dargestellt. Daran schloss sich eine beispielhafte Modelluntersuchung und Demonstration an. Auf die Moeglichkeit kuenftiger Verwendung dieses Modells auch fuer Untersuchungen mit speziellen Fragestellungen fuer die Bundesrepublik Deutschland sei hingewiesen. (orig.)Additional details
