Simplified water bath method for calibrating a 252Cf source

Description
The water bath method for calibrating a 252Cf source was simplified through introducing a fitting function for the thermal neutron distribution in water due to the 252Cf source. The fitting function was expressed by a series of orthogonal functions constituted from weighted Laguerre polynomials. (auth.)
