Determination of the oxygen content of materials
Description
The determination of the O content in samples through detection of delayed neutrons (DN) in successive time intervals has been reviewed. The DN method is compared with chemical analysis. It is characterized as fast and accessible for determining the O content in materials for geology and nuclear energy. The authors investigated a cyclic method for determining the amount of O in materials using 14.7 MeV neutrons
