The propagation of small pressure disturbances and the critical mass flux through a long pipe in two-phase mixtures have been studied by assuming that the vapor and water both are in the state of thermodynamics equilibrium in this paper. And the formulae of the propagation speed of small pressure disturbances and the critical mass flux through a long pipe in two-phase mixtures are obtained under different conditions
