Description
Experience gained from applying the method of minimizing the direction divergence to the determination of neutron spectra near neutron generators is discussed. The suitability of the method as well as the attainable accuracy and advantages relative to other methods have been studied on the basis of test spectra. The spectrum determined experimentally at a neutron generator is presented. Indium, sulfur, iodine, copper, nickel, and aluminium were used as detector materials. (author)
