Irreversible properties of micrometer-thick, superconducting MoGe/Ge multilayers as a function of anisotropy

Description

Micrometer-thick, superconducting MoGe/Ge multilayers were prepared with various anisotropies. As the anisotropy increases, the irreversibility line shifts to lower fields and temperatures, and the critical current decreases and becomes more strongly field and temperature dependent. The data experimentally demonstrate that the anisotropy is a major factor in determining irreversible properties of high-temperature superconductors
