Description

Experimental data of the investigation of prototype of the the shorting current limiter based on the polycrystal high-temperature superconductor (HTSC) Y1Ba2Cu3O7-δ are presented. The current limiter comprises the DC series-connected element placed in liquid nitrogen. For the best efficiency it is suggested to use polycrystal HTSC with the S-shaped volt-ampere characteristic as the current limiter
