Investigation of the band structure of sup(132,134)Nd and 135Pm at medium spin

Description
The 92Mo + 46Ti reaction at a beam energy of 210 MeV has been used to investigate the medium-spin structure of the isotopes sup(132, 134)Nd and sup(135)Pm. The yrast bands have been identified up to spin 28+ in sup(132)Nd, 20+ in sup(134)Nd and 47-/2 in sup(135)Pm. Sidebands have also been identified in the even-even nuclei. Several band crossings have been observed. These are interpreted, with the aid of cranked shell model calculations, to be due to the alignment of either hsub(11/2) protons or neutrons. (author)
