Positron-emitting analogs of SCH 23390 for the study of dopamine D1 receptors

Description
With the discovery of benzazepines as selective D1 ligands either as agonists or antagonists, studies on the function of D1 receptors and the functional significance of multiple classes of DA receptors are actively being pursued in several laboratories. We have prepared two positron emitting analogs of SCH 23390 in order to assess its potential as imaging agents in positron emission tomography (PET). (author)
