Superphenix - its significance in the plutonium economy
Description
Highly precise and efficient atom bombs need plutonium with a high percentage of 239 isotope which can be obtained from the mantle (or blanket) of fast breeder reactors. The production of weapon grade plutonium in France is discussed in relation to military demands on Superphenix fast breeder reactor. (U.K.)
