Thermodynamic properties of melts in gallium-tellurium and indium-tellurium systems
- 1. Moskovskij Inst. Ehlektronnoj Tekhniki (USSR)
Description
E.m.f. temperature dependences of melts in gallium-tellirium and indium-tellurium systems in the whole range of compositions are studied using solid oxide electrolyte. The measurements are made for Ga-Te alloys in the 940-1210 K range and for In-Te at 860-1090 K. .The activities of components, integral and partial thermodynamic mixing functions and excessive properties of melts at melting temperatures of congruently melting gallium and indium monotellurides in appropriate systems are calculated. According to the data obtained the melts of the above systems reveal the tendency to the strong chemical interaction
