HEART/THORAX. Radiation reduction vs. image quality in coronary CT angiography

Description
A wide variety of methods have already been developed to reduce the radiation exposure of a CT examination. However, the influence of these methods on the image quality has so far mostly only been tested within the framework of studies and on rather small cohorts. That is why they are still used far too rarely in clinical practice.

Um die Strahlenbelastung einer CT-Untersuchung zu reduzieren, sind bereits verschiedenste Methoden entwickelt worden. Der Einfluss dieser Methoden auf die Bildqualität wurde allerdings bisher meist nur im Rahmen von Studien und an eher kleinen Kohorten getestet.
