Description
Paget's disease of the breast - report of two cases with breast magnetic resonance imaging and histopathological findings correlation. Paget's disease of the breast is a special type of ductal carcinoma, which presents with a well defined clinical picture, characterized by inflammation of the nipple and areola, causing erythema and ulceration. The authors describe two vases of patients with clinical diagnosis of Paget's carcinoma on the left breast, with negative mammographic findings, who were submitted to breast magnetic resonance imaging and modified radical mastectomy posteriorly. The findings of the MRI exams correlated with the histopathological results are related. (author)
