Description

In Part I of this annex the behavior of the corrosion products under BWR conditions is described. The description is more or less phenomenological in most parts of this chapter, and theoretical modeling of the phenomena is given only when it is reasonably applicable to present systems or appropriate to explain general phenomena. The general basic concepts and mathematical formulations employed in the computer codes which are developed to describe the behaviors of corrosion products and the radioactivity build-up in BWRs are given in Part II. 71 refs, 20 figs, 1 tab
