Description
The absorption properties of Cu:CaF2 films relating to Cu cluster structure have been presented. It is shown that the resonance frequency depends on cluster size obviously. As cluster size decreases, the absorption peak shows a red shift and the peak-width becomes greater. And a third-order nonlinear-optical susceptibility of about 10-10 emu is observed near the absorption peak
