A high efficiency 4 π neutron detector
Description
A highly sensitive and reliable detector for absolute neutron flux measurements has been constructed. This detector is intended to be used for the determination of astrophysically interesting cross sections in the range of μb to nb. The absolute efficiency of the detector has been determined in the energy range 0.1-1.2 MeV using an activation technique. (orig.)
