Phase transitions in incommensurate insulators
- 1. Japan Atomic Energy Research Inst., Tokai, Ibaraki. Tokai Research Establishment
Description
This review is an attempt to summarize the experimental results essential for understanding the incommensurate phases in the insulating crystals, especially those of the K2SeO4 type. In order to understand the wide variety of the incommensurate characters exhibited by this type of crystals a lattice dynamical origin is discussed. (author)
